Two Beginners Courses to choose from
Course 1
Beginners Course: Commencing on Tuesday 16th January 2024 at Wexford Arts Centre
This four week course covers a wide range of subjects for the beginner or for those who simply wish to brush up on their technique. The courses will suit either Compact, Bridge or SLR camera users.
In this course learn
- How to navigate your camera and understand its functions and how to download images from your camera to computer.
- Discover the rules of photography (composition etc) and when to break them!
- Learn about using natural light and flash for better pictures.
- Discover techniques to improve your landscape photography
The beginners course also includes a practical session either indoors or a field trip depending on the weather.
Tutorials are also provided.
The course runs for four consecutive weeks every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm

Course 2

This six weeks course covers a wide range of subjects for the beginner or for those who simply wish to brush up on their technique. The courses will suit either Compact, Bridge or SLR camera users.
In this course learn
- How to navigate your camera and understand its functions and how to download images from your camera to computer.
- Discover the rules of photography (composition etc) and when to break them!
- Learn about using natural light and flash for better pictures.
- Discover techniques to improve your landscape photography

The course runs for six consecutive weeks, every Tuesday morning from 10am to 12pm

Paula Malone Carty is registered tutor with Wexford and Waterford ETB and holds a BA (HONS) in Teaching in Adult & Further Education from SETU. She has being tutoring in photography (both credited and uncredited) for many years. She is delighted to be facilitating her courses at these fabulous venues.
